Successful Crime Victims' Week Event

As part of National Crime Victims’ Right Week, NCVLI facilitated a free presentation entitled, “Internet Perils: Cyberstalking, Cyberfraud, and Child Abuse Imagery.”  The presentation featured a panel of leading crime victims’ rights practitioners discussing the emerging issue of social media and Internet victimization, and some of the unique hurdles currently facing these victims.

The presentation took place at the Lewis and Clark Law School Campus and was provided as a real-time webcast for our national audience.  Local attendees were invited to join NCVLI after the presentation for a community reception as we celebrated National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and recognized our outstanding volunteers and pro bono attorneys who are working to protect and advance the rights of crime victims.
