Kristin Eliason biography

Kristin Eliason, Esq., is the Director of Strategic Advocacy for Network for Victim Recovery of DC’s Legal Program where she directs the implementation of strategies for improving the legal practices, laws, policies, and programs affecting victims of crime.  Kristin also conducts and oversees training for NVRDC staff, external training for a variety of audiences, and technical assistance.  During her time at NVRDC, Kristin has represented hundreds of crime victims in the assertion of their rights in criminal investigations and prosecutions, Civil Protection Order proceedings, and in sexual misconduct proceedings on local college and university campuses.  Previously, Kristin was a Protection Order Advocacy and Representation Project attorney with the House of Ruth Maryland, where she litigated protection and peace orders, prosecuted civil contempt, and staffed walk-in legal clinics.  After graduating from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law in 2009, Kristin served as law clerk to the Honorable Janet E. Albert and the Honorable Mary Grace Rook in the DC Superior Court.  She is licensed to practice in Maryland and DC.
