Jennifer A. Brobst Biography

Jennifer A. Brobst is an Assistant Professor at University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, and formerly an Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University School of Law. She has presented on the topic of anonymity of witnesses and wrote a companion law review article for the University of Nebraska Law Review.  She has trained interdisciplinary victim service legal and non-legal professionals on privacy law for many years.  Prof. Brobst is a former felony prosecutor, Domestic Violence Clinic Supervising Attorney, child forensic interviewer, in-house Legal Director for a large mental health center focusing on traumatic stress, and is currently a member of the Advisory Council for the National Crime Victim Law Institute.  She is a licensed attorney in several states (inactive status), and has degrees from the University of Cape Town, South Africa (B.A.), University of San Diego (J.D.), and Victoria University at Wellington, New Zealand (LL.M.).
