Description: Trauma and aging affect the brain in particular ways, and advocates and attorneys may face unique challenges in assisting such clients. This training will provide an introduction the neurobiology of trauma, the aging brain, and issues that may affect older adults’ cognitive functioning (Alzheimer’s disease, dementia).

MCLE Accreditation: The Oregon State Bar has approved this program for 1.5 general MCLE credits (Program No. 4134*68).  This program will be approved for 1.5 general MCLE credit with the State Bar of California; NCVLI is an approved CA multiple activity provider. The training may be eligible for MCLE credit in other states; a certificate of attendance will be available after the program.
